Address the impact of the policy or regulation you selected on system implementation.
Cures Act has enabled the development of the Trusted Exchange Network with three significant effects on system implementation. Firstly, it has allowed research to have greater access to medical records thereby speeding up research thereby ensuring that research benefits are realized earlier. This has occurred through authorizing funding to the NIH to manage these activities, to the tune of $4.8 billion to run through 2026. Secondly, it has accelerated the adoption of EHR through determining where the technology should be used as well as acceptable capabilities. Finally, it has promoted the interoperability of EHR and encouraged the use of telehealth and social media tools in efforts to prevent, monitor and treat illnesses(Mastrian&McGonigle, 2020).Assignment: Policy/Regulation Fact Sheet.
