The Sampling theory includes an analysis of correlations between samples and a population obtained from the population. An illustration of probability sampling theory would be the performance of a study on hypertensive patients and the advantages of regular patient weight monitoring. Patients with hypertension are unique, but their age, ethnicity, and gender are arbitrary. In other institutions, this analysis can be replicated to expand the sample group. The composite research findings will then be extended to a broad target group of all patients suffering from hypertension. An illustration of the nonprobability sampling would be to perform a tele-floor study of all clients to assess if the level of noise during nighttime on the facility was alarming.
