The feedback I got from the instructor last time is that if I am not going to use demographic data, I should not collect it. Based on my research, we can still collect demographic data by justifying that it is collected to ensure participant meets the inclusion criteria or to determine whether the individuals’ characteristics are representative of the target population. For the inclusion criteria in the past, we have said anyone involve in direct care with patient and who can understand, speak and write English.
