- Instructions for Group Presenters:
- Grade = 10% class grade
- Entire group will receive the same grade (think group effort so everyone earns 10% – make us PROUD – you can do this/it’s your moment to shine !!!!!!!)
- Grades will be released 48 hours after the presentation on BB
- Rubric will follow in a separate email
- Casual business attire (no jeans, sneakers, hoodies, baseball caps, miniskirts, see through clothing, revealing clothing, flip flops, stilettos – yes, I’ve seen it all).
- Time limit including Q&A per presentation = 50 mins per group
- All members of the group will present
- Presentation ought to be creative/engaging/stimulating and fun ……. Hint hint …… FUN
- No reading of lengthy notes, however, index cards allowed
- Be creative (PPTs, videos, photos, handouts, poster boards, kahoot, role play etc)
- Introduce yourselves
- State topic to be discussed
- Provide overview of your search
- Highlight reputable nursing resources – must be current, < 5 years (evidenced based)
- Discuss how this topic is relevant in nursing & it’s impact/provide examples
- State pros/cons of topic if need be
- Pose questions to audience
