Surprisingly, children under 18years of age prevalence stood over 18.5% (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2020).
  3. The above statistics illustrate that a considerable number of Americans are experiencing difficulty in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Part of the reasons for difficulty maintaining healthy lifestyles includes busy working schedules, negligence, increased first food outlets, and a lot of time making healthy dietaries. As a result, if the unhealthy lifestyle problem is not tamed early, it leads to health complications such as high blood pressure, stroke, cardiovascular and heart disease, and general all cause of deaths (Farhud, 2015).

  6. Conversely, some people are opposed to the idea of being introduced to diet foods since they are expensive, it takes a lot of time to be prepared, and people have the right to eat what they want.
  7. Overall, benefits associated with healthy lifestyles are quite many, with having a healthy body being the leading factor. When it comes to maintaining good health, prevention is better than cure, and people should not find it hard to maintain healthy lifestyles since the benefits are immense, with consequences being dire.
