Limited access to healthcare is a healthcare issue that society is currently facing (Loganathan et al., 2019). Individuals face obstacles in obtaining necessary medical services. This may be due to factors like geographical constraints and financial limitations. Addressing the issue of limited access to healthcare is vital in today’s world. It ensures equitable health outcomes regardless of geographical location or financial conditions.

This issue is imperative to Registered Nurses (RN) role. We often witness patients who cannot access healthcare services promptly. This results in delayed treatment and exacerbated health conditions. Our professional relevance in addressing this problem lies in various responsibilities. These include collaborating with healthcare teams to bridge gaps in care delivery. In my professional experience, I have frequently encountered patients struggling with limited access to healthcare. Some could not afford essential medications. Others lived in remote areas with sparse medical facilities. I have witnessed the consequences of delayed care. I have participated in assisting patients navigate the healthcare system.
