Abuse in Nursing Homes Essay

Each student will independently complete a Quality Improvement paper. Each student will select a nursing-specific/impact nursing practice topic of their choice. Each student will find one research article to expand on the topic of their choice. The research article must be peer-reviewed and published within the last five years. All reviewed articles must be research articles (Qualitative, Quantitative, & Mixed Methods).  Abuse in Nursing Homes Essay No Literature Reviews will be accepted.

In addition to the one research article, each student will integrate the Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN) competency of Quality Improvement into the selected topic.
Quality Improvement uses “data to monitor the outcomes of care processes and use improvement methods to design and test changes to continuously improve the quality and safety of health care systems” (QSEN Institute, 2020, Table 4). Quality Improvement is a key component of the nursing profession and is a continuous process.
